We at Dr. Dalai’s Pediatric Dental Centre understand that nothing is more important to you than your child. You want them to look and feel their best from now until they are old. A big part of your responsibility in this endeavour is taking care of your child’s oral health. Fortunately, dentistry has a special field dedicated to children’s oral health called Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry. Pedodontists are specialists that are trained to have an in-depth understanding of child psychology. This helps Pedodontists take care of children’s oral health and treat them in a timely, effective and efficient manner while simultaneously instilling a positive dental attitude thus helping them gain confidence in themselves.
Dr. Jyotirmayee Dalai with the dream of a healthy india started Dr. Dalai’s PDC, an exclusive pediatric dental centre that provides primary and comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic oral health care to infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs, with world-class infrastructure and competent staff that is dedicated to improve the overall health of children using holistic approach. We truly believe that the nation walks on the feet of the little ones and we help them grow from tiny tots into healthy and strong individuals.

Our Team of Experts

Dr. Jyotirmayee Dalai is the owner and head pediatric dentist at Dr. Dalai’s Pediatric Dental Centre. She is a consultant pediatric dentist in more than 50 clinics and hospitals across Maharashtra. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at Dr. D.Y Patil Dental College and Hospital.

Dr. Dalai has several awards and accolades to her credit, some of the most recent ones include the “Best practice of the Year-2020” at IDRR, “Most Commendable Pedodontist of the Year-2019” at FEDA and the “Budding Dentist of the Year-2019” at FEDA.

Dr. Dalai has been the recipient of the “Outstanding student of the year award” in 2013. During her M.D.S in Pediatric Dentistry in Mumbai, she was a Gold-Medalist and stood 1st in college across all specialities, 1st in university (MUHS) theory, 4th in university (MUHS) overall. She has been the recipient of the much coveted “Tata Scholarship for Meritorious Students”. She has a Fellowship in MFS Orthodontics from the OWI, Barcelona, Spain and is the founder member of the Foundation for Orofacial Myotherapy, an association formed to educate and train dental and medical practitioners in the field of preventive Orofacial-myotherapy.

Miss Ruksar Sheikh

Ms. Ruksar Sheikh has been a part of the PDC clinic since its inception. She started off as a second assistant and in two years has been promoted to Senior Clinical Assitant. Her kindness and compassion makes her a very important member of our little family.

Miss Yogita Parab

Ms. Yogita Parab is the newest member of the PDC team. Ms. Yogita is fluent in English, Hindi as well as our local language Marathi. Her enthsiasm to help, her calm demeanour and her understanding of people makes her an exceptional receptionist.
